About   (request update)
What started my love of photography, was my mother who owns a Kodak Brownie camera, which uses Kodak color 2-¼ mm film, which I was curious on how this brownie box camera works. My grand father always had a flashlight in his house and for some reason I was fascinated with light.

Always wanted to capture the moments, started off with my first camera a 110mm film Vivitar 600 which was nothing but a point and shoot camera, then moved up LOL to a 126mm film Kodak camera.

My first real 35mm film camera was a manual Yashica Electro 35 Rangefinder, which had an aperture, rings with f/stop numbers, which correlate pictures with the range of f/stop numbers dial.

Yashica had an f/1.7 40mm lens and ASA range from 12 to 400. Unfortunately the camera was stolen and I was so mad, my parent brought me another camera. The Chinon AM-3 with screw mount lens 135mm f/2.8 and a 55mm f/1.7.

I’ve upgraded to a SLR Minolta X700 35mm camera. I had two of them with motor drives on both. With this camera my experiences started as a hobby first, to becoming a very serious photographer.

The biggest upgrade was when I purchase my first of three DSLR DX Nikon’s, Nikon D70, D300 and D7000, growing and moving to a FX full frame camera soon.

I’ve photograph countless photos from Washington DC City councilwomen Charlene Drew Jarvis. Roberta Flack, Dave Chappelle and that celebrity list goes on and on.
The 2012 - 2013 Miss Black District of Columbia, Tecoya Gordon.

I’ve entered and won photo contest from HBCU Network in May 2006, and my job at PRC,

My photos have appeared in newspapers, and magazines, Afro American News Paper and Howard University capstone, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Magazine in 1980’s and recently The HBCUconnect.com front page cover, featuring HU Showtime Marching Band Dance Team Ooh La La Capitan Christine Rebecca Jenkins.
