Member of Athletic Hall of Fames at the University of Arizona, Tucson High, and Pima County in Arizona.
Member of Tucson High Hall of Fame for my contributions to society.
Graduation speaker for Tucson HIgh, Class of 2000.
Speaker for University of Arizona's first LGBTQ & Allied Graduation Celebration in 2008.

What drives you; what gets you up in the morning?
Current Whereabouts:
Working with elementary children in the areas of drama and writing and movement; working with high school students around problems with JROTC and military recruiters on their campuses.

Well, I hold the single game scoring record (basketball) at the University of Arizona: 46 points. But I'm known as one who rises everyday to make the world a better place - through acting, writing, spoken word, active pursuits...
Most Memorable Moment:
Working with SFE (Students for Equality) around issues of civil and human rights. Challenging professors' notions about the world as it related to me and my people/people of the diaspora.
High School: Tucson High School in Tucson, AZ class of 1956
 
Activities & Accomplishments:
All-City, All-State basketball player. Member of school chorus. Performed as Nogi in "Desert Song. Honor Roll Student.
Best Memories:
Hanging out with my friends as if those days would never end. Feeling tons of love and giving it back in equal amounts.
