About   (request update)
Natives of Chicago, we LaNaye and LaToya, have partnered in ownership of Seisyn since 2003. Initially beginning as a creative pastime, we officially launched our company professionally after receiving much public appeal in the Baltimore area during our undergraduate matriculation at Morgan State University. We have always had big dreams fueled by equally strong amounts of talent and passion. This has enabled Seisyn’s distribution in several boutiques in Chicago, as well as a featured spot during New York Fashion Week 2009. Through Seisyn’s distinctively matchless product line we offer a tailored experience in jewelry that is never duplicated. Both of our inspiration to create wearable art comes from the desire to promote the freedom in women to be bold, uninhibited, and take risks. It is always our goal to continue to increase the visibility of our brand, so we expanded to include a children’s line and are anticipating a global expansion via our website in 2011.
Our zeal for fashion dates back to childhood, a time characterized by reconstructing ready-to-wear clothing into new garments. We have both been entrepreneurial in focus since we were young so during our teenage years we teamed up to develop a clothing line geared toward young artsy individuals who possessed an eccentric appetite for style. Although the line never launched, it did set the framework for Seisyn to come into existence in later years. We have worked very hard since 2003 to build a strong brand and gain more visibility, a mission that is relentless in effort and never ending. Simply put, we are two imaginative chicks with a heart for fashion and art. Combining the two allowed us to propel ourselves as the designers everyone always saw us as and the artsy innovators we always knew we were.
Noted for our unique individual quality, our personal taste is never lost in translation to original shapes, vibrant color schemes, and rich textures seen in the product line. It is important for us to parallel our work with the evolution of womanhood while maintaining a youthful freedom of expression. Through our work we wish to communicate the spirit of femininity and the heart of individuality as an extension of a collective experience. With that said, we hope you are as excited as we are about what Seisyn has to offer!
