Born on the Southside of Chicago, Erica Miller’s early days were anything from ordinary. Before her childhood could completely begin, Erica was faced with a traumatizing and life changing event; her mother passed away suddenly. “I remember like it was yesterday. We were sitting on the couch watching music videos. One second she was here, the next she was gone.” Erica was only six years old when she saw her own mother’s death resulting from a life gripping aneurism. As evident in her success, it cannot be denied that although Elle was only given a short amount of time to learn from her life provider, she used that time to learn lessons of strength, hard work, and dream realization to further her growth. Erica Elle began her journey to Nashville’s most revered internet video host, as a promo-rep for The Dreamgirls Promotional Model Team. Because of Erica’s relentless and straight-talk demeanor, she was selected as a spokesmodel for the group. To aid with the popularity of the group, Elle was persuaded to conduct recorded interviews with local celebrities, while simultaneously promoting events for the team. In the summer of 2009, Erica introduced The Erica Elle show to the world by way of SoCashville.com. Due to the show’s immediate success, Erica Elle took the show on the road and expanded its accessibility to a number of other websites. The event was co-hosted by local comedian Freddie B and Cristal, also known as Serious from The Flavor of Love. Other guest judges included Southern Movement from MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, and Nashville’s local artist Paper. Erica Elle has unquestionably pierced Nashville’s entertainment industry. Since her unveiling Erica has been chosen as the hostess for Urban Music Challenge #1, a promotional representative for the MP3 Music Awards in Europe, as the hostess for Source Magazine’s first ever Nashville event: Spit 16, as the continual hostess for Nashville Kick-it’s networking events, and an avid blogger and promoter for SoCashville.com. In addition to her many hosting and promoting duties, Erica can be seen in Nashville interning at Clear Channel Radio 101.1-The Beat and 107.5-The River, and hosting her very own radio show on TSU’s campus radio WTST-The Blaze. More recently Erica Elle has been busy laying the ground work for her second event, “Stiletto Stampede”. The event is schedule to break-way February 11, 2010. Stiletto Stampede will be hosted by Kendra from Oxygen Channel’s The Bad Girls Club season 4, Risky from Charmed School, and Heartbreaker from For the Love of Ray J. With the Nashville underground music scene shouting her name, it is no shock that Erica Elle continues to “click clack” her stilettos into mainstream success.
