I am a mother of 2 sons, DJ(19) and Joel(14). I am an 18 yr teacher in an Illinois Public School. I enjoy volunteering with small children and seniors. My pastimes include reading, fine dining and appreciating the arts in any capacity. Children are my ultimate passion, I believe that as adults we are charged with the responsibility of guiding them and preparing them for the future whether its in or out of the home. I thoroughly enjoyed my HBCU college experience and think it was a great foundation for me to begin my life as an adult.

I am a special education JR. high school teacher for students with learning and emotional disorders.

I am a recent past Basileus, as well as, past Regional Editor of the business sorority, Gamma Phi Delta Sorority in Chicago, Il. I am entering a second Masters' Program for Special Education with emphasis on the Autism Spectrum.
