Q&A With Ashley Boston

What have you done with your life that matters?
"Now I think that is a easy question; I feel that the biggest thing that I have done with my life that matters is that I didn't just live it to live it. I have lived my life everyday day striving to fulfill a purpose; now that might not be unique, but I truly believe that people have been positivly impacted by my life and that is a tremendous blessing."

Interviewed by Patrick Parker 07/13/10

Who wrote, "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time" What does it mean to you?
"Mark Twain is the genius behind that quote! If you fear death, then you fear life as well. If we live our life each day as if it were our last, we would have no reason to fear death, which is also fearing life, because we will have been living a life that we never took for granted. Be thankful for the life that you have and don't take it for granted, if you do this, then you have, "Nothing to fear, but fear itself." Now who wrote this quote?"

What are your religious beliefs, what do you want out of life, and what makes you happy or angry?
"I'm am a firm believer in God Almighty. He is the most high and the only God I serve. I am active in my church and love to serve in anyway that I can. I want to add to the lives around me; if at the conclusion of my life, I have added in someway to another person's life, I will have received what I want out of life. Making others happy truly makes me happy; I try not to complain even though I do sometimes, but life is precious so living makes me happy. Seeing someone go without, be in pain, hurt for some reason is the most excruciating pain I could ever feel; to see someone lacking or being hurt makes me angry. My view may seem unrealistic but by whos terms are they unrealistic? Who said that everyone can't be happy or have everything they need. It only takes willing participants to make it happen."

Life & Professional Aspirations:
Now that I have my Bachelors, Grad School is in my sight, get my masters, undecided if I will go for my PhD but I have time to figure that out. I hope to pursue a successful career in acting, eventually crossover into the writing and directing world. I want to do stage and screen work. I love getting my hands dirty so it's always been a dream to get into real estate to buy and flip houses. I hope to have my own business someday and being rich isn't important but I would like to not have to worry about having to budget for what I need. If it's something I need, I want to know I can go get it and not worry about it hurting the bank. Thus also being able to share the fruits of my labor with people who have it tough and need help.
