KALIMA F.A.Q. LEWIS was recently nominated for an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Comparative Religion from the World Spiritual Institute of New York. She is the author of So' Feet: 'Sore Mind...Sore Heart...and Sore Soul'; her true story of growing up in America as a Second Generation African American Muslim; marrying an ABUSER; DYING at the hands of an abusive husband; MANAGING to overcome her own low self esteem; and RESURRECTING with the commitment to LIVE and share her story in hopes of helping others overcome their own obstacles. In her writings, she uncovers Domestic Dysfunction within and around its communities.

As the Owner of Lady in the Shoe Productions in New York City; a Small Business Investment, Agent Representation, and Consultative company which specializes in High Profile Clientele based services. KALIMA F. A. Q. LEWIS lectures nationwide on Domestic Dysfunction with emphasis on home- lessness and abuse on women. It is her hope to help liberate people worldwide. When she is not authoring books, she is utilizing the more than 20 years experience in Entertainment providing service in Project Management, Uber Event Production, Publicity, Marketing/Promotion, Consultation and Support Services, Book Publishing, Negotiation, Document Preparation, and Tour Booking. The Lady in the Shoe believes that there is no love like the love of a mother which is indicative of the unique way that she provides services in businesses she commits to. Alternative experience as a Counselor has provided her with tools that further enable her to relate to her audiences when she presents as a Keynote/ Motivational Speaker and Conference Lecturer.

Her intention is to inspire and encourage the many challenged men and women suffering in today’s society. Inside this commitment, KALIMA F.A.Q. LEWIS is currently accountable as the Spokesperson; since 1999, for the So’ Feet Movement; a grassroots movement driven by the politics of worldwide communities riddled by Domestic Dysfunction. Nationwide tours began in 2009 and will re-launch in 2011. Hosting the Ms. Shoe Show, as she sits upon her ‘Lime Green Comfy Couch®’; KALIMA F.A.Q. LEWIS inspires her audience in a teach-back platform premised by her own experiences of overcoming obstacles; an open dialogue on everlasting peace, understanding, appreciation and mutual respect. The Ms. Shoe Show’s impact on the social network of Facebook alone has given her more than 8000 followers. Ms. Shoe is undoubtedly making her mark to “Healing the World”.
