I have been employed at two of the BIG 8 Institutions in the state of Mississippi. At Mississippi Valley State University, I served as Praxis Test Prep Coordinator. I co-founded the Praxis Achievement Institute and conducted informative, tutorial and effective test taking skills workshops for the Praxis exam. These services were offered to all students as well as provisionary licensed teachers from surrounding school districts. I was also an instructor for Education Computing. In this course, I taught students how to identify and integrate technology into their curriculum to enhance the teaching and learning process in the classroom.

Before my employment at MVSU, I was employed with Jackson State University as Director of Student Support Services and Coordinator of Alliance for Graduate Education in Mississippi (AGEM). In these positions, I recruited and advised students majoring in STEM programs, monitored the academic performance of students, developed academic enhancement workshops, attended local and national meetings and assisted in the coordination of annual symposia.
