Undergrad Major: Sociology

Claim To Fame:

I spent an evening in the presence of Mrs. Coretta Scott King in summer of 1983, with another student Karl Colder, and we were taken to the King Center, a soul food eatery and then to her home. There we sat and ate as she told us many behind the scenes stories of the Civil Rights Movement while surrounded by plaques, newspaper clippings and many pictures hanging on the walls of her home. What an experience!!!

Most Memorable Moment:

Freshman Class President, Sophomore Class Officer, Junior Class Treasurer & Senior year as the Student Government President at Cheyney University of PA. Delegate for Jesse Jackson to the 1984 Democratic Convention in San Francisco, CA. Meeting Mrs. Coretta Scott King and working with her sister and brother -in- law, Edith & Dr. Arthur Bagley, both professors at Cheyney University. Meeting Cheyney graduates, Mr. Ed Bradley of CBS 60 Minutes Show and Barbara Daniels Cox. Now, working at Cheyney University assisting students in obtaining Internships with businesses and governmental agencies.

High School: Germantown High in Phila.,, PA class of 1975

I have 27 years of experience working in the Collegiate Faculty, Staff, Administration industry.
