One of the hardest tasks I have ever had is writing about myself. Sure, I've known myself for about 20 something years but it's hard to put myself in words. But I'll try:

I LIVE by this quote. Not a day passes by where I am not figuring out how I can achieve all of my life's goals.

I have a communications background: a bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University and a master's degree in Communications from Bowie State University. Education has always been super important to me but I didn't choose to go to college to get a nice corner office at some hot shot corporation, but rather for a chance to learn, network with people, and have the opportunity to work and study abroad.

Traveling has opened so many doors for me including: Friendships, self growth, and even some job offers. It takes a lot to pack a bag, hop on a 15 hour flight leaving everything I know to step into the unknown, but it's the life I've lived and will continue to do so.

I'm currently writing a book that describes the journey's I've been through: everything from salsa dancing in Costa Rica, to screaming on top of a thousand pound camel, and "bungee" jumping in South Korea. I will also get more personal and intimate and talk about how traveling has allowed me to find a little more about myself through each and every trip I've taken and how exposing myself to different countries has made me love being American, but also realizing how incredibly blessed I am as an American citizen. And for all those who think I'm some undercover millionaire - I'm totally NOT. I will share with you my "secrets" of how to travel on a dime- maybe even get PAID to travel!
