I've seen alot. Raised in a family of mixed backgrounds, I was exposed to alot. Born in Louisville, KY I started dancing with a dance crew, Breakdown, at thirteen. Stayed with them until 2006 when I relocated to New Orleans. Worked my way up from living in a basically a laundry closet I was paying $400 a month for, to directing a local dance crew, dancing for another local dance company, managing Z'otz Cafe in uptown New Orleans and bartending at Cafe Envie in the French Quarter, Maintaining a 3.75 GPA, and truly growing to realize my full potential.
My Interview Question
What do you do to set your self apart from the next person and how do you use that to drive you?
Current Whereabouts:
Dancing is my heart, Salsa and Hip-Hop, forever. Besides that I'm a music junkie, mostly 90's Hip-Hop and Neo-Soul, some of the new music out there is kinda suspect (i.e. pretty boy swag :-/), so I stick with what I know. Besides that I'm a nerd, video games, comics, old movies, and so on.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My dream has been to open my own dance studio since I started dancing. Right now, I'm currently trying to get my Bachelors in Sociology, from there I either plan on seeking Teacher Certification or my master's in International Studies, eventually beginning doctorate studies somewhere down the line. Besides, I can dance the entire time doing that!
