Education   (request update)
Cheyney University of Pennsylvania class of 2010
Undergrad Major: Business Administration
Claim To Fame:
I plan to be a successful therapist. I have a gift of understanding the mind and how it works. Sometimes I can look at an individual and can instantly tell whether they're are going through something negative/positive but sometimes that individual may not understand themselves and I feel as though that's were I would play an important role. So my goal is to give their lives some kind content and comfortability.
Most Memorable Moment:
I would have to say that my most memorable college moments was the whole college experience, having that level of independence; I mean for me it was like home away from home without the parents *laughs* but nevertheless; it was a difficult yet great learning environment for me. I could go on and on for days about my college memories but one that stands out the most is my Sociology advisor Dr. Vincent Miles. There were times where I was not confident at all in the fact that I would even graduate Dr. Miles has build that confidence level in me which motivated me to strive and push forward towards my future and I owe him all the thanks and blessings in the world for helping me better understand my potential and ability to know that I am capable of doing anything because anything is possible when you have prayer, people who care about you and also YOU the "student" has to put forth a lot of effort, determination and dedication as well. With that being said I am proud to be a college graduate from the FIRST HBCU Cheyney University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology..... :-)
Planning on attending an on-line masters program at the University of Phoenix class of
Grad Major:
High School: perry in Pittsburgh, PA class of 2005

Activities & Accomplishments:
Track team, events: (300 mm hurdles, 4x1) dance team (football season and basketball season) all four years...
Best Memories:
I could name so many but; the one I could never forget is: I was 15 yrs old and there were posters being displayed all over the school for "Dance Team try-outs" I was so excited because In my heart I really wanted to try-out but I never danced before in my life so I was extremely nervous and I had a really shy and non-chalant type of personality when I was in high school so that didnt really help much with my confidence of tryng out for the team *laughs*. But like I said I wanted it so bad, so I actually tried out for the first three days and I was one of the first girls to get a call back from the captain indicating that "I dance really well and congratulations you are now a member of Perry Traditional Academy's dance team". I mean seriously, you would have thought I won an ESPY award as excited as I was. I remember telling my mother and she was just as excited for me because she knew how badly I wanted it but she also knew that I was a really shy person so she was more proud that I stepped out of my comfort zone and did something i actually love and had passion for.
