I am fifteen-years-old and my hometown is New Orleans, Louisiana. At school, I partake in many extracurricular activities. I am in the National Senior Beta Club, a 4-H officer, a parish youth leader, in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Student Council, 4-H Junior Leaders, Louisiana Girls Leadership Academy, Key Club, and Educational Talent Search. Many people think that I am overloading my activities, but I manage to make time for all of my other responsibilities. My current GPA is 3.7. I am probably the biggest perfectionist in my entire school. I refuse to settle for low grades, better yet, I also refuse to settle for an insufficient mind in which it is not intellectual or mature enough. One of my hobbies is writing. I love to write poetry, short stories, long stories, fables, folktales, in prose, and just about any kind of writing. I always look to writing, particularly poetry, when I want to express my feelings. Through poetry, I also aim to allow people who are oblivious to the fact that I understand their pain and I also write poetry about what others feel. I want them to always see something in my poetry that makes them think, "Yeah! She knows exactly how I feel. I'm glad I met someone who understands my feelings." Another one of my hobbies is playing tennis. I have been playing tennis since I was seven-years-old. Reading is also one of my hobbies. May it be novels, magazines, newspapers, poetry, billboard signs, I just love to read! Reading is practically in my skin and I don't think my passion for it will ever vanish. Helping others is also one of my hobbies. I try to help people in any way that I can, no matter what I'm doing or where I am. Last but not the bit least, spending quality time with my family is also one of my hobbies. I consider this as a hobby because I enjoy it just so much. I know that I can go to my family for anything, and that makes me feel brilliant. Not many kids can say this. In general, I am a loving person and I try to be the best I can, under any circumstance. I love life, and I love people! <3
