Q&A With Alexis O'Neal

Why is it important to attend a HBCH?
"It was important to me to attend a HBCU because they teach you of African-American history. I'm learning a lot about our people that I was not taught in elementary, middle, or high school. I was led to believe that our history started with chattle slavery which was slavery that the Europeans put us through. However, our history started way before that in Ancient Kemet aka Egypt. It amazes me of the things that I was not taught. & attending a HBCU gives me a deeper background of our people. It makes me proud to be black."

Tell me something interesting that everyone should know about you?
"I'm all black, and these are my real eyes. Most people I meet do not believe me, and think I am lying."

Who would you be with 10 million dollars?
"I'd be the same person, except more professional. With 10 million dollars, I would be a business woman. Thus, I would conduct myself as such. I would be the same person, just better. Change is good especially if it is a positive one"
