Brianna Ursery-Hairlson is from Merrillville, Indiana. After graduating from Merrillville High in 2008, she then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Howard University with a degree in Marketing and a Dance Minor in 2012. She has a vast array of experience in the Non-Profit sector. She began with the Dance Institute of Washington under the late Fabian Barnes and had the opportunity to teach Sasha Obama. She taught dance and served as Program Coordinator, Executive Administrative Assistant, and worked on the First Annual National Dance Day on the National Mall and the Summer Youth Employment Program under Mayor Adrian Fenty.



While interning at Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, she decided that she would return to Northwest Indiana to work with youth in the arts with plans to build a performing arts facility.



Currently, by day, she is a Senior Consultant and Program Manager for IBM with experience in Project Management, Testing, and Technical Writing. During her free time, she gives back to the community through dance. She has taught dance in after school programs throughout Northwest Indiana while maintaining her own dance group, Y.O.U.N.G., and training youth dancers, EXALT, through Embassies of Christ Kingdom Ministries. She is also signed to Lily’s Talent Agency in Chicago for modeling, dancing, acting.



Even though she is quite busy she makes time to for awesome husband Paul. They were married on October 22, 2016 and enjoy traveling together.
