About   (request update)
I would like to think the thing that makes me special is the fact that I decided to stop complaining about what happened to my Fraternity Brother Leonard Douglas Brown and friend Denver Smith and do something about it. Everyone complained about the lack of training on the part of the Law Enforcement Officers who responded to the campus that fateful day, but I was told complaining about it would do no good. The only real way to change it would be from the inside, so I made it my mission to join the Police Force and become a Law Enforcement Trainer and change the way officers were trained....not just in one department, but nation-wide. I became a Certified Law Enforcement Trainer in an Internationally recognized organization the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers (A.S.L.E.T.) and actually had a say in who would be allowed to patrol the streets or be sent back to the Training Academy for more training. A little late to save Denver and Leonard, but a step in the right direction and the ground work is in place.
Current Whereabouts:
Although retired/disabled, I am still active as a consultantant when called on. I also spend a lot of time online with the young brothers and sisters of my fraternity and it's sister organization- The National Society of Pershing Rifles and The National Society of Pershing Angels- both military in nature. Although I am a member of the NSPRAA (National Society of Pershing Rifles Alumni Association), and referred to as "Big Brother" sometimes, it is an honor to be a part of a group of young men and women (approx. 900) some about to enter combat for the first time and others leaving for their second or third tour of duty. Just being able to make them laugh for a moment and take their minds off the stress of battle means a lot to me and I hope it does to them. I have a daughter in the military and I only hope that someone would do the same for her.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would like toenjoy my kidsand grand-kids and continue teaching and helping kids until I'm at least 130 and then I'll maybe retire and go fishing.
Experience
I currently work with JPSO; CLASSIFIED as Personal Protectional Specialist
I have 38 years of experience working in the Law Enforcement, and Security industry.
