I am a student at Oakwood University who is currently double majoring in Social Work and Spanish. It will take me an extra year to finish school because one year is taken off to study-abroad in Argentina to complete my Spanish major, but it is definitely worth it. I love to help people and with my combined majors I will be able to bring aid to a vast majority. I am currently a leader in a campus ministry called Connect, a possible president for the drama club Mkonno-Nia, and a chaplain for the Social Work club at my university. I am a very sociable person, but I do take my education seriously and have maintained a 3.4 GPA in my two full years of college, only striving to do better in years to come. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough to supply for my tuition, books, and living expenses so I’m investing in my future by setting aside time for scholarships.
