I’m a proud U.S. citizen whom requests to continue to expand my education for future career essentials and to create a better environment that will affect the society towards the pathway to success in the world today. I attend to study Healthcare and Psychology professions suitable for my best interest in mind. To dedicate and devote towards academic excellence and achievement for the foundation of Human Ingenuity and Environment. My status is classified as a Lancaster High School student that is entering into my senior and graduate in 2010. Ranked 21 out of 435 students in my class considered in the top ten percent. A grade point average of 4.5 and a A/B honor roll student for the past three years in high school. Also I’m a motivated and honored JROTC student at Lancaster High School of the 16th Tiger Battalion as a LET 4 Officer Cdt.Captain Company commander Karis Hardge.
I’ve been in the JROTC program since my 8th grade year of Junior High School until now and have always been presented leadership positions to uphold and accomplish from becoming a squad member, squad leader, platoon sergeant, 1st sergeant and now honored with Company commander. Being involved in the JROTC program teaches me to go beyond average and achieve great excellence; to find the leader within myself and stand up for what I believe in and define independence, teamwork, dedication, pride, honor, duty, respect, personal courage, integrity, discipline, and more. Characterized as a” over achiever” and “team player” when it comes down to getting the job done. Once assigned a specific task it is my duty to accomplish and achieve that task until completely satisfied. I enjoy seeking and giving advice to others in need of a helping hand to a one-on-one conversation. Listening is the important key element to start off a great relationship towards that individual.
I’m a member of the Orange Crush Drill team and Orange Guard Varsity Color guard as “left guard.” Also a member of the National Honor Society since I was first accepted in my sophomore year of high school. I’m very diverse and active in my community due to JROTC and as a Christian at Cedar Crest Church of Christ. I’ve always been accepted to the school awards and have been presented with many since my freshman year. I received the Spanish Achievement & Geography award in my freshman year. I’ve been taking Spanish for three years and currently enrolled in Spanish IV AP. The ELA Literary award was presented in my sophomore year. And recently the A/B honor award and the JROTC National Legion of Merit award for qualified individuals ranked in Top 10% of academic, top 25% ROTC class, demonstrated qualities of leadership and actively participated in related student activities in my junior. I’m worthy of my morals and values as an independent individual that only wants the finer things that life as to offer. I recommend my position and placing within your family tree of ingenuity and excellence. The call of duty is knocking and I’m willing to open the doors of opportunity.
