There are many, but the most significant is the death of my mentor: Life is too short to squander.

High School: St. Emma Military Academy in Belmead, VA class of 1965

Activities & Accomplishments:

Rifle Team: I am a marksman. I constructed a prototype of a Weber grill from a water tank before Weber existed when I was 15 yo. Can you imagine the royalties !

Best Memories:

The 60's era KKK decided to "visit" the campus of St. Emma Military Academy. An ROTC trained group of black youths with over 500 M-1 riifles and .30 caliber carbines. When they received word that we were combat ready; they decided that it was not a good idea !
