About   (request update)
Damon Mallory an alumni of both Boston Arts Academy and Qatar Foundation International (QFI) programs in 2010. While in high school, Mallory focused heavily on the tenor saxophone and initiated two international and community programs that integrated culture, arts, and youth engagement for inner-city youth. After taking on a full year of Arabic through QFI's Arabic Language and Culture Initiatives and participating in a Cultural Exchange trip to Qatar, Damon grew a stronger passion for culture and youth engagement. This was supported when he co-founded another international program called, Youth Allied to Learn, Lead, and Help (YALLAH). YALLAH is an alumni program for participants of QFI programs that promotes cultural dialogue, global issues, education, and connects Arab and American youth to work together and become active global citizens. Damon is currently a second-year student majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Political Science at Franklin Pierce University in Rindge, New Hampshire. He continues to play saxophone, volunteer with youth, and develop many service initiatives in his community and abroad.
