Life & Professional Aspirations:

First generation college student, Want to attend law school and earn my J.D. in conjunction with a M.P.A. to become well versed in the field of policy and the legal aspects of public policy. I also would like to earn my Masters in Education to be able to teach future generations. Would like to start out as an attorney, bringing justice to my community and then eventually move up to maybe a state attorney general or something involved with public policy that directly impacts the community. Start a foundation in my hometown of Birmingham, AL (and eventually expand to other cities if affordable) that caters to young boys who are raised in single parent households. The foundation would teach them certain principles of how to be a man, ranging from how to tie a tie to how to treat a woman. It would provide them with "fathers" for those who aren't fortunate enough to grow up with a father figures in their lives.

Best Memories:

My best high school memory is when I was volunteering at Clay Elementary School as a student-aid and I helped coach the track team(I ran track in high school) to win 2nd place in a large county meet. The smiles on their faces as they lifted the trophy above their heads brought joy to my heart because although I didn't receive that type of trophy as a track runner, the ability to use what I've learned and to teach it to someone and they benefit from it was very humbling.
