I am inspired by my mother. She was a single mom with four children, and I am proud to admit I am the baby. Even though my mom carried a heavy load, she had the courage to keep striving. My mom now has her Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree. Many of our family and friends thought she would never make it, but we are both here today living her testimony. With that being said, I am a single mother of two and awaiting the day I become a Licensed CLinical Social Worker (LCSW). After working as a LCSW, I want to become a Practitioner within the field of Social Work. Also, I will want to advocate for the disabled and mentally ill citizens of my immediate community, nationally , and internaionally.

"The Climb" I can almost see it, That dream I'm dreaming, but There's a voice inside my head saying, You'll never reach it, Every step I'm taking, Every move I make feels, Lost with no direction, My faith is shaking, but I Got to keep trying, Got to keep my head held high, There's always going to be another mountain, I'm always going to want to make it move, Always going to be an uphill battle, Sometimes I'm gonna to have to lose, it is not about how fast I get there, It is not about about what's waiting on the other side, It's the climb, The struggles I'm facing, The chances I'm taking, Sometimes might knock me down, but No I'm not breaking, I may not know it, But these are the moments that, I'm going to remember most yeah, Just got to keep going, And I, I got to be strong, Just keep pushing on, cause its the CLIMB!
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moments as an undergraduate at JSU was when I crossed the burning sands of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and on to graduate in 2008 with honors Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration. Even now, I am in graduate school pursuing a Masters in Social Work. During the Fall semester, I am in tuned to JSU Football season; especially Homecoming because it is so enjoyable while tailgating and cheering for the home team. TIGER PRIDE!!!
