I have also trademarked Standardized American Selective Retardation™ and Chameleon Scarecrows™ from the subtitle of my first book titled, “The Objective Narrative of an Undaunted Black Male and Deliberate Blue-Collar Scholar© 2011. Manage Operations Planning for the Maryland Cycling Classic and Baltimore Marathon. Learned Trapeze’s TransitMaster software module. I then created and implemented the standard operating procedures (SOP) for service adjustments (bus diversions) in 2020 for MDOT MTA OSD. Responsible for all 3 Planning Districts in the MDOT MTA OSD service area since 2020, two divided by Charles Street, extending east and west, to the north, and the third divided by Pratt Street extending east and west, to the south: an increase of 67% in responsibility. Expanded my job description to include managing Operations Planning in 2020 and, by myself, managing ownership and responsibility for the 3 MTA OSD Planning Districts. Reduced Operations Planning operational costs by 67% through process optimization. Reduced project completion time by 50% implementing streamlined workflow, control. Decreased data entry errors by 50% by managing operations and rechecking own work. Increased Operations Planning team output by 75% in taking accountability, ownership. Win: Streamlined the process for preparing, uploading, and disseminating Transportation Notices and Transportation Bulletins. Developed systems to monitor 3 Planning Districts. Proof: Reduced time it took for directors, superintendents, managers, supervisors, staff, bus operators by 55%, tracked through emailed Transportation Notices and/or Bulletins, the email Distribution List, and confirmed pending service adjustments in TransitMaster. Win: Reorganized Rider Notice preparation, formats, and Transportation Notice and/or Transportation Bulletin preparation to improve professionalism, consistency and delivery. Proof: Reduced time spent on Operations Planning tasks by 45%, measured through completion of Service Requests. Increased consistency by 75%, measured by accuracy. Win: Identified and addressed Operations Planning bottleneck points to reduce delays. Proof: Reduced in-house complaints by 50%, demonstrated by a regular increase in the number of people added to the distribution List (300+)
