I was born in Washington, DC. Graduated from Theodore Roosevelt Senior High School in DC, June 1989. Joined the U.S. Navy at 17 and served 10 years as a Cryptologice Analyst, finishing my career at the National Security Agency at Ft. Meade, MD, as I attended Morgan State University while on Active Duty and received my degree in Management Information Systems in 1999, 6 months after leaving the Navy. Relocated to Memphis, TN in 1999, working many positions for different company's including Computer Technician, Network Technician, Network Engineer, and IT Manager.

In April of 2010, I founded New Century Technology Solutions along with my wife, Melanie, which provides IT and Network Consulting Services to several medical and law offices, and small logistics companies in the Memphis Area. Also, currently, serving as one of only two Tier III Engineers for Konica Minolta's All Covered IT Services since March of 2011.

I am married to Melanie Dunlap of Memphis, TN, and have 4 children. T-Shandynee' is 22, Adrienne 16, Myles 12, and Taj 11.

I attend Greater Imani Church and Christian Center, where I have served as a member of the Deacon Ministry for the last 5 years, and also serve as a coach for the church's Youth Baseball Team.

I am a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Memphis Alumni Chapter, and a 32nd Degree Prince Hall Mason.
