About (request update)

I am a young black girl growing up in Los Angeles County in the wonderful little city of Altadena. I love to talk, sing, write, act, and cook. I love to play and watch sports, particularly football. I love being active in and giving back to my community. One group that has truly become a passion of mine is the Altadena Branch NAACP Youth Council, of which I am president. In high school, I feel that as long as I'm doing well academically, I should have as much fun as I can while doing it. Consequently, I have consistantly been on the schools honor rolls as well as being a member of numerous extracurricular activities. I live a very busy lifestyle, but I manage to keep up with everything. My parents taught me that mastering multitasking will make me very successful in life because I will never be doing just one thing. I hope to be the best I can be and also be a positive role model for others.

Current Whereabouts:

Two things I am very interested in are music and fashion. What I am listening to a lot right now is Frank Ocean, Robin Thicke, Pac Div, Amy Winehouse, Tyler the Creator, Drake, Beyonce and Minnie Riperton. In the area of fashion, I like to do a lot of shopping in high scale second hand and vintage stores. I also like hand me downs from the women in my family from their respective fashion eras. I take a lot of my fashion cues from 60's, 70's and 80's.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

Ultimately, I would like to be a Criminal Psychologist working in the prisons and juvenile hall systems. I want to earn my Doctorate in Psychology and I want a private practice on the side. In addition to my career, I want to be a wife, a mother, and an active community member wherever I live.

Student Government (9th Grade Class President), Varsity Track and Field, Varsity Cheerleading, President of Christian Club, Music Production Club, Interact Club, President of NAACP Youth Council, Vice

Best Memories:

My best memories have come from bonding with my friends through especially the Track Team (during the meets and practice) and the Cheerleading Squad (during the football games).
