I am a non traditional 32 year old single parent who was recently laid off after 5 years of employment and I have made the decision to go to school and earn my degree in which I never had the opportunity when I was younger bcz my mother taught me that college was important and did not support me going. I had to work and forgot about school. Having my son at 28 years old changed my way of thinking and I want more for him and it starts with me as his parent and influence.
Current Whereabouts:
running marathons, church, hiking
Life & Professional Aspirations:
to obtain my degree and be able to have a positive influence on others and inspire less fortunate young adults to have a brighter future. I want to lead by example and be looked up to as a role model who made it.
