About   (request update)
I am 17 yrs old, I live in St. Lucie County, FL, and I attend Fort Pierce Central High School. I played football for Central for 1 year; I completed the Criminal Justice Academy at Central. I am an explorer with the St. Lucie County Sheriffs’ Office and a member of the Florida Sheriff’s Explorer Association. I have been a member of the explorer post since 2006. I am currently the Explorer Captain and as the Captain I bring a different style of leadership to the table when it comes to leadership. I have a passion for what I do and that’s helping my community by serving it the best way I can. I have racked up hundreds of community service hours since 2006 and it’s been worth it. I have contributed to many schools by writing the Dedicational ceremony speech for Palm Pointe Educational Research School @ Tradition and serving as an Ambassador for the school as well as a Teacher’s assistant to the Physical Education Department during my 8th grade year doing many office duties and working with the k-5 students with task given to me by the Teachers.
Current Whereabouts:
I currently am an Explorer Captain with St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office Explorer’s Post 400. As an Explorer I study law enforcement-related topics, volunteer my time within the Sheriff's Office, and perform numerous hours of community service at functions in St. Lucie County. I have received training in Traffic Stops, Radio Procedures, Domestic Violence, Crime Prevention, Active Shooter, Handcuffing & Searching Techniques, Drug Awareness & Identification, firearm’s safety and marksmanship, Crime Prevention, Report Writing and many other things that are useful in my goal of working in the field of Criminal Justice becoming a Law Enforcement Officer in the State of Florida. I have helped at the county fair, at parades, Crime Stoppers, at the Annual Chili Cook Off in St. Lucie County, and at neighborhood watch programs. I have participated numerous times in statewide and local conferences for law enforcement-related Explorer posts, where I competed against other explorer post in law enforcement contests and I have increased my knowledge of the criminal justice system by doing so. I am into bettering myself through education so that I may teach as well as lead others the positive way in life.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I have always been Passionate about Law Enforcement. My uncle was a Sergeant with the Fort Pierce Police Department (he retired in 2005) and I looked up to him in his career as a Police Officer. I dream of making a difference in whatever Law Enforcement Agency I join. I am motivated and inspired to enhance my professional skills to hopefully achieve advancement in the Law Enforcement profession as a Sergeant a Lieutenant or Captain. I dream of helping youth like myself become successful and hopefully I can make something of them and.
