As a child, I've seen hard times. My mother made a few bad choices that resulted in us being homeless. I was always interested in fashion but we could never afford it. I used to get picked on. I would see clothes and want them. My desires to have them sparked a new talent in me. I began to draw the clothes that I wished I had. At first, being that I was a kid, it didn't look like much. Even after we left the homeless sheltering continued to draw. We'd stayed at union mission homeless shelter for women for about a year and a half. They helped my mother get a job and an apartment in 2004. After staying at the apartment for almost 7 years, at the age of 38, my mom got her very first house. Even after things got better, I never put down my pencil. My dream is to be a fashion mogul and a business owner of a chain of retail stores around the world. And this is what I plan on studying this fall in college.
Current Whereabouts:
I've been drawing designs since I was a kid and every year my drawings get better. It's been 10+ years since I started and now my designs look a little professional. So what I do nowisdraw fashion designs.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I dream to be a fashion designer, a fashion mogul, and a business owner of a chain of retail stores around the world.
