About   (request update)
Born February 15, 1994 at Candler Hospital. My mother's name is Rosemary Simmons and my father's name is Robert Givens. I was raised by them both to begin off with but as the years went by my mothers raised me only. My two brothers Torian Simmons and Kevin Cutkelvin are the lucky ones, they see their father's all the time. Me??? I wonder where mine is and why I haven't heard from him in so long I know he didn't forget about me, he just lost touch. Me being the middle child makes me stand out because people will expect more from me based on what the first child goes through. My mother became a mother at a young age and finished highschool, most mothers that get pregnant at a young age tend to not make it to their graduation day. My mother wants the best for me and my two brothers and I want to make her proud of me. She always told us to go to school get our education have a wife and kids and never give up and until this day I have not given up on her and haven't planned on doing so. My older brother didn't really live his life like he wanted but in my mind he is happy. He doesn't go to school but he does work. Kevin my younger brother is only in middle school but he is really smart and he is always on high honor roll. He will become a successful college student in the future. As for me I am in between I struggle to meet my requirements and I will never give up and I am not going to give up. Being seccessful is the mission statement I go by each day and that will never ever cross my mind as long as i shall live. I have been to six schools through out my life, Islands Elementary; White Bluff Elementary, Bartlett Middle School, Coastal Middle School, DeRenne Middle School and Beach High School. My class rank may not be in the top 10, 20 or 30 but I rank 44 of 192 in my class rank and I am proud of it. Meeting alll my requirements for highschool has me set for graduation. Community service has been done, all my credits have been recieved, and my Georgia High School Graduation Test have been passed starting with 210 and up. My GPA isn't the best GPA but I have an 85.7500 and it continues to rise year by year, marking period after marking period and semester after semester. I have come a long way and now this is my final year and I will be graduating in the calss of 2012 on June, 13th at the Savannah Civic Center at 6:00 p.m. and I am blessed to see that I have finally made it.
Current Whereabouts:
Marching band is something I am currently into and it is a great experience for me. I am the section leader of the bass drumline and that is a big role for me. Being a leader makes me proud of myself . You must have discipline if you want to be in the marching band. It is a good experience when you make it through the entire year and realize you are apprieciated by your band mates. After every year we have a dinner for the entire marching band and we all recieve rewards for our outstanding work. Being a marching bulldog the most exciting thing in the world. Earlier this year JGG Jobs for Georgia Gradutes became apart of my highschool timeline. I love JGG alot we do alot of things like competitions, community service, social networks, field trips, and so much more. We just recently adopt a street and we have our own signs throughout the whole street. JGG is life changing this program helps you get jobs and scholorships we make our school look good.
