Hey I'm Marquita, but I prefer people call me Kita. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, I have 4 siblings, and 2 dogs who will soon have puppies. (I'm so excited!!!!!!) People who really know me would say I'm a shy, quiet, and very sweet girl. I agree, however I'm coming out of my shell a little more. My hobbies are reading, sketching, painting, and dancing. I'm also a great listener and love helping people with their problems (future child psychologist). Lastly, I am a soon to be Howard freshman, and honestly I don't think I've ever been so excited and nervous at the same time in my entire life. Well that's enough about me for now. Life & Professional Aspirations:
Ever since I can remember, all I ever wanted to do was travel the world. However, I was soon hit by reality and realized there were more important things I needed to do first. I have decided to become a child psychologist, because I love being around children and helping them. It especially warms my heart to see them happy and well taken care of, so I have also decided to open a children's shelter. I will work really hard to give these children the kind of life they deserve. I also plan to create a non-profit organization after or during school. Unfortunately, I have yet to determine all the details. I still plan to travel the world someday. Right now it is a still a dream that refuses to fade.
