I am the product of the foster care system and have been since I was 9 months old. I have been abused in life and then I was loved by a wonderful foster mother and who raised me to be successful, independent and taught me the power of prayer.
Current Whereabouts:

Life & Professional Aspirations:
I want to enter into the field of oncology because of my foster family. My father died of bone cancer and my sister of breast cancer and my other sister is currently being hospitalized for colon cancer. I want to find a way to ease the suffering of those afflicted by this disease. If I never find a cure but do something to help one patients life then I will know that I left a mark on someone's life. That I made a difference.

Claim To Fame:
I am a member of the Tuskegee University Golden Voices Concert Choir. I am leader of student activities for Clinical Laboratory Science at Tuskegee University.
Most Memorable Moment:
While I know I have more to experience up to now my most memorable college moments to date would have to be the mass meeting of the Freshmen class my first Sunday at college in the Tuskegee University Chapel. That was when I realized that I was really in college, that I was not a stereotype. My second most memorable moment was the meeting of Tuskegee Airmen and the cast of Red Tails as I worked the premiere event at Tuskegee.

Valedictorian, member of choir for four years, member of the National Honor Society, Honor student.
Best Memories:
Singing the Hueytown High School Alma Mater during the graduation ceremony in front of every student and their parents and family members.
