I, Quamori T. Goodwin, was born and raised in the city of Columbus, GA. I am a 22 year old graduating senior Mass Communications major with a concentration in Audio & Video Production and a minor in Business Management. At a young age, I learned that speaking comes natural to me and my parents and immediate family has always said since the day I started talking, I haven’t stopped.

My aspirations in life are to be an anchor and to also be a mortician. I am involved in Tiger Ambassadors on campus, which I consider my pride and joy. Tiger Ambassadors shows my love for the campus and how making one experience on a tour can be the deciding factor of a teenager's college choice. I am also a former member of the Blaq Silhouettes Dance Team. I am a CAB Driver and a part of the SSU Pre-Alumni Council where I serve as Miss SSU Pre-Alumni Council and Executive Board Treasurer.

I am a contributing writer to the school’s independent newspaper, Tigers Roar. I also emcee the SSU Athletics Basketball Games during media timeouts and halftimes. I have previous experience from editing yearbooks, fliers, and keeping social media up to date. I have experience in Adobe Suite CS6, Microsoft Office as well as operating PC and Mac software. I plan to enter the field of mortuary science upon graduating with my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications.
