I teach middle school in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have three beautiful grandchildren: Jalisa, Jasmen, and Jason. Oh yeah, I have a doctorate and am working on another.

Claim To Fame:
Being the first participant in the Fisk/Peabody Program to get more minorities in Education. Oh yeah, I also graduated SUMMA CUM LAUDE.
Most Memorable Moment:
The night the Sigma Dove Sweethearts "crossed". It was after midnight on the eve of Easter in 1987. The ceremony was held in New Liv. It was a men's dorm, so we weren't supposed to be there anyway. Some of us got caught by the dorm director, Mr. Williams. He told us to get out and we tried to justify us being there by telling him that we were with the Sigma Doves. I recall his exact words. In his loud, purposeful voice he said, "I don't care if you're with the EAGLES!" It's still hilarious today when I think about it, but I guess you had to be there:)
