I was born in Lynwood, Ca and raised in South Central, Los Angeles, Ca. Currently I am living in San Bernardino, Ca with my parents. Do to crazy circumstances, my parents and I have moved a lot. We have been homeless, also, at a point in time, when we would move from one place to another. My parents and I have become accustomed to going without when times are rough, which explains why I have never joined a sport. My parents have not really been financially stable. Even tthough we have faced constant adversity, I have maintained a 3.0 gpa and graduated school with a 3.19 unweighted gpa and a 3.7 weighted gpa. I have also joined a plethora of clubs throughout my high school career.
Current Whereabouts:
Currently, I am volunteering at my local library and applying to scholarships and job seeking. I have currently joined the ONE campaign and receiving updates from the (RED) organization, also.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I would like to help cure the world of HIV/AIDS one day and create a place where those who are HIV positive can come and be themselves and educate those who are not understanding of the virus and/or disease. I also want to become a writer one day and create a book of poetry that will someday change someone's life.
