About   (request update)
What makes me special is I have the heart of a lion and never ending determination. There is nothing that I feel I can't do and I am willing to walk across the world to accomplish all of my life goals, dreams, and aspirations. This is proven by graduating in the top 5% of my high school class, awarded the TOP Mass Communication Student from the University of Central Oklahoma, Teacher of the Year Award from McCowan Middle School, awarded Top 25 Teacher of Desoto Independent School District, running a successful business Pole'iticians Fitness Studios, and an author of my brand new book From Loss To Being Boss. I also have an Associates Degree in Diversified Studies with an emphasis in Business from Oklahoma City Community College, a Bachelors in Corporate Communication, Masters degree in Educational Leadership, and I am working on my second Masters in School Counseling. I have managed to accomplish all of these things in my life all while raising my beautiful seven year old daughter on my own.
Current Whereabouts:
I am a Secondary Speech Education Teacher looking for an Assistant Principal or Principal position. I am a motivational speaker that speaks to secondary and college students about Making the Most out of High School and College Preparation, and also What to Expect After College. I speak to Single Mothers about how and ways to pursue their dreams. I am also the owner and operator of Pole'iticians Fitness Studios owning three locations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. We offer alternative fitness classes that promote a healthy mind, body, and soul. Our fitness studios cater to women and our brand is all about empowerment, fitness, and confidence for women. I just recently finished writing my brand new book under Tate Publishing called, From Loss To Being Boss: How A P..O.L.E. Saved My Life. This is my first memoir and is also an interactive self help book. This books talks about the many trails and tribulations I have been through as a child and young woman. However, at the end of every chapter I reference a lesson and how my lord and savior was their to guide me throughout the process. I talk about how the many experiences I went through help mold me into the person that I am today and has allowed me to be a boss in my own life.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My professional aspirations are to become a School Principal at Elementary or Secondary Level, to obtain a career in the Higher Learning Industry, and/or have my own practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I want to continue to speak to the young about how to pursue their dreams, what to expect from college, and how life has its way of always bringing one back to their life's purpose or true calling. I also look to continue my non-profit program for adolescent girls at risk of not graduating high school and single mothers as a way to save one life at a time.

Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable college moment was the entire experiences. In college you go through many challenges, trials and tribulations, not to mention the many external life events a student is going through will trying to acheieve academic excellence and completition. However, it was for those tough times, my professors not giving up on me, and me constantly being challenged that help mold me into the beautiful, intelligent, and smart young lady I am todayl I was being stretched. When we a being stretched sometimes it doesn't feel good but it shows you what you are truly made of. College showed me that if I could handle college and all of life's experiences coupled together I could handle anything.
