Since I was younger my parents would frequently say, "you only get one mom and dad." One day I realized that there is only one Marlon Vance! I can honestly say that what that my main interest is to leave an impact on people and always leave that person satisfied, but yet always wanting more.

Current Whereabouts:

Currently, my main intrest is art. Nothing says more about a person's character than anything that can be produced by hand. Art in my opinion is the most dignified way to express yourself. I express myself through poetry, drawing, or anything that I can create.

Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable college moment was the Trayvon Martin ceremony we held on Dillard University's famous "Avenue of the Oaks." We gathered at the flag pole and discussed the preception of society and important case points that are often over looked. After the ceremony we walked around the Oaks and sang spirituals and our alma mater.

Best Memories:

My best high school memory would have to be Move-Up Day. The purpose of this event is for the students to celebrate moving up one grade level. This is also the last official day of school for the graduating seniors. The ceremony is a black and white event that is operated by the senior classs officers. The break down for this function is to look at our past four year's experience, farwell slideshow, and award the superlatives. I was responsible for writing the script to the skits and to see students actually performing my work was a gratifying experience.
