About   (request update)
Kimberly Lampkin, a graduate of Tennessee State University, is a teacher by trade and a writer by purpose. She has a passion and desire to help others. She relocated to GA from Mississippi where she taught Special Education and Biology I. Growing up in a small town equated to limited career fields. While teaching, she found herself not only educating and mentoring students but teachers alike. She loves what she does but her yearning to write more and become more active in the community is slowly shifting her to community development and the nonprofit sector. She desires growth, creativity and most importantly purpose.
A mother of two, Brandon 16 and Tatiana 13, Kimberly knows all too well the importance of education and hard work. While working as a teacher at a non-traditional school, Kimberly utilizes her writing skills by writing television show treatments, business plans, proposals, sponsorship letters and blogs.
Kimberly comes from a family of strong women, her grandmother and mother, whom she cherish dearly, are true matriarchs. Their relationship is like none other. Because of their poise and elegance Kimberly knows the ins and outs of carrying one’s self as a lady. She believes that every woman is one of worth and strength. She is the youngest of four girls; therefore she values friendship and girl talk. She also values prayer and her relationship with God. She confidently expresses her love and dedication to servitude of the most high. She is well aware that the law of Christ is fulfilled through the bearing of one another’s burdens.

“Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.” ― Mahatma Gandhi
