My strength comes from a strong desire to be more than a number but to actually be identified as my name. Yes, I am a young black women but I can do anything I put my mind to. I am not a statistic in your book. Starting off with nothing gives me even more appreciation of everything in life. So tell me I can't and I'll show you I can.

My best high school memory was organizing and hosting a black student union fundraiser.
