I have a very diverse perspective from my upbringing in Celebration, Florida to my professional experience through several internships in a low-income areas. I am also very young and still have a lot to learn and experience.

Current Whereabouts:

Currently listening to The Killers, Sun Hotel, and Joy Division. I'm currently reading Ovid's Metamorphasis.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

I want to be a neuropsychiatrist that makes notable contributions to the delivery of healthcare and psychological education. I believe that healthcare can be best delivered through a diverse network of providers and that psychological education should be held to higher rigor.

Undergrad Major: Pre-Medicine

Claim To Fame:

My love for psychiatry was solidified at a job shadowing in Chicago. I have diverse interests and a 3.90 GPA. I'm currently studying psychology/pre-medicine and minoring in music and professional writing. I work at the UCF Health Center and am a secretary of Active Minds, an on-campus organization that aims to reduce the stigma of mental illness. I also am a TA and researcher for human factors.

Most Memorable Moment:

College has changed the way that I see the world. It has taught me that individuals and situations are infinitely complex. It has taught me that medicine is nothing without compassion. It has taught me that education is vital to the progress of mankind.

Best Memories:

My teachers had a huge influence on my development as a person. In AP psychology, I learned that my passion for the mind and other people was authentic and what it meant to fully emerge myself into something. I also have fond memories with my friends that shaped my views, culture, and perspective on life.
