My name is Calisha Sadiq, I am a 19 year old college sophomore attending Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. I commit myself to academics, community service, and becoming an overall better person internally. I enjoy music performance, natural sciences, and philosophical conversations that help to stimulate the mind and expand the way we think. I love working with people and I'm looking to expand my horizons and engage in new opportunities where I can show my leadership skills and I can allow my confidence (academically and socially) to shine. My goal is to have my bachelor's degree by the age of 21 and my master's by the age of 23. Big goals that will not be denied.

Current Whereabouts:

I'm very interested in acquiring internships and building my resume. I recorded an EP at Paramount Studios Hollywood this summer and it changed my life. I know that I want to go back to an environment like that. Even though I am a biology major I still feel as if I can't abandon my undying love for music and I will keep pushing towards that direction so that I can cross over and only work in the music industry.

Life & Professional Aspirations:

My goal is to obtain a degree in a lucrative field. Then once I finish graduate school I would like to have acquired so many connections via networking and internships that I can beginning building my franchise. I would like to one day start my own record label but before I get to that point I want to take on internships with different labels, then go into scouting, and eventually become an A&R for a major record label. Once I build my clientele I can move forward and take the steps necessary to obtaining my dreams.
