I was born and raised in Houston, TX and I am now a Freshman at Howard University and I am a Business Management major. I was raised in a blinded family with my mother and step father and I never had a relationship with my father. That did not stop me from striving to reach my goals. Growing up my step father became very ill and due to this I started to slack in my work due to helping to care for him. No matter what I continued on. Due to my success in high school I was offered an Internship with Shell Oil in their Human Resources department where I learned the inner workings of an International Oil company. Through having to help care for my step-father and working I graduated high school with a 3.5 GPA and I now attend my dream school Howard University
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently in the Junior Resident Assistant Program at my school. In this program we learn the basic steps of what it takes to be a RA. Along with these steps we also will gain valuable leadership skills.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I want to practice corporate law as well as start a non-profit organization geared toward helping underrepresented youth.
