Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame was being one of the founding members of the first black poetry club on Jackson State University's campus known as "OutSpoken"
Most Memorable Moment:
My most memorable moment was reciting my first poem at an event the A.K.A.'s held called PoAKA nite. My poem dealt with stereotyping and how we as a black race need to stop talking down on each other because of the different things each of us does. I got a standing ovation from it. This pushed me to want to write more just for us African Americans
