Tracy serves as a Sr. Systems Engineer with a Defense Contractor in Tucson, AZ.
They are the world’s leading producer of weapon systems for the United States military and the allied forces of more than 50 countries. In her role she performs integration and verification on hardware and software as well as environmental testing on hardware at customer locations. This testing provides the customer knowledge of how the systems will perform in extreme weather when being used by US war fighters. Tracy has contributed technically to a number of defense projects that support our men and women in the armed forces. Tracy has received awards for her commitment to customer satisfaction while representing her employer at customer sites.

Prior to moving to Arizona, Tracy worked at Nortel Networks in Dallas, TX as a Software Engineer. In her role, she was able to assist with cutting edge technology and witness telecommunications evolve into the industry we see today. Tracy started her engineering career while in college, interning for Lockheed Martin Federal Systems in Manassas, VA. This experience gave insight to engineering and the challenges millions face yearly transitioning from a student to corporate America. Engineering has been a challenging and a rewarding career. Some advice Tracy would give to young Engineers, “with technology changing every day, as an engineer you need to have a continued passion for reinventing yourself to stay ahead of the game.”

Tracy holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Jackson State University and is an active member of the illustrious women of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.
