Q&A With T. Tymille

(interview me)
T. Tymille
Location: Grambling, LA United States
Joined: Oct 3rd, 2002
About   (request update)
Current Whereabouts:
I am a member of the Society of Distinguished Black Woman here at GSU: this is a community service organization which holds an emphasis on unity in the black community. I am also a member of the Delta Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I just finished my last season as a player on the GSU Lady Tigers Basketball Team.
Education   (request update)
Grambling State University class of 2005
Undergrad Major: Economics
Campus Organization:
Delta Sigma Theta
Claim To Fame:
My "Claim to fame" during college is going to be that I maintained an excellent(3.75+) cummulative GPA while staying active in several different organizations, and graduating in the top 5% of my class here at Grambling State University. My future "Claim to fame" would be to succeed in growing in my career field well enough to become a founder of a future business and competitor in the markets of finance, securities and investments. In addition to all of these professional claims, I will strive to accomplish all of this with the upmost fear, respect, and faith in my God who I recognize to be the reason why these will be my accomplishments.
Most Memorable Moment:
The most memorable person in my college experiences would have to be Dr. Elvira White, a former faculty member in the Paralegal Studies field of study here at GSU. She is an excellent role model and motivator. She possesses the essence of what I feel it takes to be a successful, well-respected, strong African-American Woman in today's society. She does not settle for less from her pupils and, in attempts to stay stern, she always pushed us--NEVER lowering her standards. But in doing this all she remained compassionate (rather than cold-hearted). Even though she is gone now, I will never forget the type of person and professor she is. There are a lot of moments and events that I've experienced in college, but she stands out as the only professor who met my standards of character so highly.
