I have participated in many volunteer actitives ranging from hosting church car washes, to singing for the elderly, tutoring elementary children in the afternoons after school, volunteering to teach a
Best Memories:
My best high school memory would have to be, when my Principal left my sophomore year and he called me into his office. When he called me into his office, he told me statement that changed me which was "Cierra, you have a purpose to fulfill at this school and don't you leave. Because the moment you leave you will cutting yourself short on your future. You applied to this school because you were proud of being different; now make a statement with your future." When he told me that, I realized that somewhere deep down inside of myself I knew I had something special. Being a daughter of a single mother with three brothers ; and having nobody to support us but my mother, I knew my future was all I had. I had my education to rely on because my mom couldn't make it especially since our father's don't even care about us nor pay child support to help. My future is all I have to pay my mom back; and show her that she did raise me right; and she raised me without the support of her parents and brothers and sisters. That is my best high school memory.
