As an educator I have frequently heard the ongoing conversation regarding being innovative and improving our country's educational system. During this conversation it is often stated through press releases, interviews, documentaries, national and local news, etc, that there is a need for more African American Male Elementary educators throughout our educational system. Being that I am so eager to help close our nation’s educational achievement gap and I fit this description it's very frustrating to hear this conversation while keeping in mind that I have the background, experience, and education to get the job done.

Current Whereabouts:
Currently seeking a position in education which is designed to educate and train others professionals in this technologically diverse 21st century society.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My goal now is to step outside the doors of my classroom, expand my territory, and work hands on improving North Carolina’s educational system. I am excited that you have the opportunity to help me fulfill my dreams and goals and I have the opportunity to help NCDPI make huge leaps in education while positively influencing the lives and dreams of students.
