About   (request update)
I am a man of many skill sets. I grew up in a journalistic family working for the Monroe Free Press in Monroe, Louisiana. I graduated from Ouachita Parish High school with honors before going to college at the best and largest HBCU in the country, Southern University and A & M College. I received my Bachelors of Science from SU in Mechanical Engineering. Afterwards, I was employed with General Motors (GM) as a Supervisor in the Tool & Die field of manufacturing.

I have helped create cars/trucks such as the new 2014 Chevy pickup truck, Cadillac CTS Coupe, Camaro, and many others since being with the company. I returned to graduate school in 2003 and received my Masters of Business and Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. While in my Masters’ program I took over and enhanced a company called African-aMerican People Succeeding (A.M.P.S.) Magazine. I have taken this media entity to well over 6 million in readership/viewership with its i-radio, i-tv, and publication.

In 2005 I continued my education at the University of Phoenix trying to pursue a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration.

Currently, I am still working for GM and trying to make AMPS Magazine a force in the community across the country. I am married to Gia D. Wright with one son, Gian (John) D. Wright. I currently reside in Fishers, Indiana right outside of Indianapolis, Indiana.
