Icy Williams is President and CEO of ACF Enterprises LLC, (www.isias-acf.com), a sustainability training and consulting company that specializes in helping corporations transform core operations to create a competitive differentiation of their sustainability goals. Icy is also VP of Development for the Diverse Manufacturing Supply Chain Alliance (DMSCA; www.dmsca.us).
Icy was the former Associate Director, Corporate Supplier Diversity Development for Procter and Gamble; retired September 1, 2009.
Ms. Williams joined P&G in 1980 in Product Supply Manufacturing. She held a variety of positions; Process Engineer, Production Manager, Maintenance & Technical Manager, Department Manager at the Green Bay Plant in Wisconsin and Operation Manager at the Cape Girardeau Plant in Missouri. In 1994, Ms. Williams was appointed Associate Director in The Tissue and Towel Business Unit. She completed two assignments as Associate Director in Product Supply Manufacturing.
In 1998, Ms. Williams was appointed Plant Manager of the Avenel Perfume Plant, Global Manufacturing Coordinator for Perfume Manufacturing Plants in Mexico City and Germany, and Product Supply Business Planning Office Manager (Production/Initiative Planning and Quality Standards and Assurance) in Cincinnati.
As Associate Director, Corporate Supplier Diversity Development at P&G, Williams created systemic processes and systems for P&G to achieve $1.5 Billion spending with Minority/Women Business Enterprises by 04/05. Ms. Williams exceeded the goal of $1.5 Billion in fiscal year 04/05 and then created the 5 year plan to achieve $2.5 Billion by Fiscal year 09/10 and at retirement spend exceeded $2.1 billion with minority and women owned businesses. Accomplishments in this position included:
• Corporation of the year through Local NMSDC Council; SCOMSDC 2005, 2007 and 2009
• Induction into the Billion Dollar Roundtable; one of 18 companies today
• 2009 Merlin Pope Diversity Leadership Award
• 2009 Cincinnati Business Mentor of the Year –Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber
• Numerous diversity leadership awards due to outstanding Supplier Diversity efforts; Diversity Inc, Working Women, MBN Magazine, MBE Magazine, Latino Magazine, Good Housekeeping, BE Magazine, etc.
• Founding corporate member of the Cincinnati Minority Business Accellarator (MBA)
• Founding member of the Greater Cincinnati MBE Construction Collaborative
A native of Fairfield, Texas, Ms. Williams graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a BS in Business Education.
