Art and designing was something that in the past 5 years as an aspiring professional singer and songwriter, I always had an urge in the back of my mind that I wanted to do especially watching other established entertainers whom were doing it and using their creative sides in drawing sketches through art to inspire fashion ideas they could use in being a fashion designer in addition to being a performer which really intrigued me to want to follow a similar path. It was in early 2013 I decided to embark on my journey in wanting to create a fashion design business. I also previously was a music and fashion freelance journalist having interview celebrities such as Ne-Yo for media outlets like the SA Current which can be seen here a: http://www2.sacurrent.com/news/story.asp?id=62978#.UJfSHY9d_e0.email.I and currently do marketing for other influential individuals now such as book authors and entrepreneurs. A few of the media outlets I worked for in the past doing freelance work covering special events in both the public and on T.V. writing articles for were the “Juice Weekly, “SA Current”, and “SA Observer”. In addition to this I am also a musician that produces my own vocal performances and production in a variety of genres as fusing different styles of sounds are a specialty of mine.
I have performed at various talent competitions in the area to include Air Force events as a previous dependent, and have received local recognition in the San Antonio Area through press coverage. I have also worked with major music producers in the past on some of my music projects that I feel have shaped the way I as a music producer approach producing music and fusing sounds together. I have had music I have written like “Goin to the Grammy`s”, performed, produced and arranged covered on media outlets such as Kens 5 which can be viewed here at http://www.kens5.com/great-day-sa/LIVE-Music-from-Chiffon-117967829.html and on popular online digital magazines such as NME where my YouTube music video can be seen as well here at http://www.nme.com/nme-video/youtube/id/7qxeVHiGfPc.In addition to this I am happy to say that when it comes to having written the story board to the songs in the videos that reached a combined amount of almost 2 million views together, that I directed both music videos. I also in 2013 decided to create an bring to existence my own independent organization as a sole proprietor where I am currently now working towards empowering youth through fashion and entrepreneurship in an ongoing project I plan to start in January of 2014 when more outside assistance has been garnered by giving young people a platform where there is planning assistance for aspiring artists in different field to help guide them in their future is and creative interactive tools are available as an initial outlet to use in expressing what they may have experienced in their life so far that relates to many of the problems typical teens in society or culture do while assisting them for preparation in how fashion or trends can be used in each of their futures to spread messages of positivity as opposed to those of negativity. The institutions of higher learning where I take classes in furthering my education are Ashworth College out of Atlanta where I am enrolled currently in my bachelors of marketing program and St. Philip`s College where I will be completing classes towards my associates program of English to hopefully soon receive my associates degree. Employment wise I have worked for different programs in the school districts as well as after school programs where I have been directly involved in the community with youth from different backgrounds coordinating different education and life lesson based activities and have put together my own community events where youth in the programs I worked such as for Shelter Corporation`s Cobblestone Village location in San Antonio where residents were invited to view arts and crafts work created under my supervision for showcase at events and party`s in the format of an exhibit.
