Shantazia Howard is a graduate from Atlantic High School, Class of 2013 (High School diploma). She has proudly maintained a 3.5 weighted GPA. Although Shantazia is quiet and self-reserved, she is a well-rounded individual who has embraced leadership, learning, service, and global awareness. Shantazia has been a 3 year participant of The Academy Of Law and Government Where she was selected to attend the Central Florida Mock trial to accommodate attorneys abroad, to solve cases. As the leading prosecuting and defense attorney, we placed 5th out of 11. I also volunteer a a prosecutor for the Teen Court program where I help to discipline and corrected behaviors of children that had gotten in trouble with the law. Shantazia played as the Starting guard on a National Travel team were she travel the whole summer across the county with the Porterhouse Christian Academy AAU team. Where we took 1st Place In Divison1 state championship. Shantazia was also was selected as one of the thirteen seniors to participate in the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Debutante Cotillion. She also was a part of National Council of Negro Women, Daytona Beach Chapter Brain Bowl competition where she and her team came in 2nd place two years in a row. Shantazia will attend Florida AM University In Tallahassee Florida for four years were she will continue in pursuit to obtaining her career in Law. After graduating with my Bachelor’s degree, I plans to attend a prestige Law school with a career of becoming a corporate lawyer.
